Wallace & Gromit Celebrates 20 Years with Free Game

One full, free game, discounts, charity and more on animated team's birthday.

In celebration of Wallace & Gromit's 20th anniversary, Telltale and Aardman Animations are offering fans several chances to honor the stop-motion duo. First, a free download of the Wallace & Gromit game episode, Muzzled!, is now available through November 9th. If the freebie gets you hooked, Telltale is also offering the full four-episode PC season for $20, (originally priced at $34.99) during the same week.

Xbox Live Arcade is celebrating the pair's two-decade jaunt too, with the release of the final three episodes of Wallace & Gromit's Grand Adventures, for 800 Microsoft Points each. In addition to the episodic content, a premium theme and Wallace & Gromit Gamer Pics will also be made available.

And for the charitable, during the one-week promotion, each full season of Wallace & Gromit's Grand Adventures PC purchased will have a portion of its proceeds go to Wallace & Gromit Children's Foundation and Penny Arcade's Child's Play.

Finally, on November 4th fans can pre-order a collector's DVD for the PC that, in addition to containing all four episodes of Wallace & Gromit's Grand Adventures, will also include bonus making-of footage, concept art and an animated short from Aardman Animation.

Tyler says: Oddly enough, when I got my first tattoo my artist decided to put on Wallace & Gromit's The Curse of the Ware-Rabbit to watch while I got inked. Digression aside, though I love all the shorts and feature films I've seen of the man and dog, I've never played the adventure games. But hey, free games are easy on the wallet, so I'll give it a shot. Anyone here thinking of going all-in on the collector's DVD?
