Behind the Decks of DJ Hero Video Feature

It's no secret that we love FreeStyleGames' superb DJ Hero at the IGN UK offices and hopefully you've all had chance to check it out following its release on Friday, loving it an equal amount now too.

But how did the studio put the whole thing together? We were lucky enough to get an invite down to FreeStyleGames' London studio in the heart of the East End's ultra-trendy Brick Lane, home to the musical masterminds behind DJ Hero's stunning mixes, to get the lowdown on the game.

From its inception as a Wii Remote-waving DJ game, through numerous peripheral experiments and eventual transition into Activision's 'Hero' series, FreeStyleGames tells us the story of DJ Hero, its music and the talent behind the tunes.

It's a long 'un so we've split it down into two convenient video morsels. And as a special bonus, you even get to count how many times we screwed up when grabbing the in-game footage. What more could you possible ask for? Enjoy!
