Orange Box Gold

Halo 3 has about two weeks before another big multiplayer game hits store shelves. That countdown has officially begun, as Valve has confirmed to IGN that The Orange Box has gone gold and is headed for the factory.

The Orange Box, of course, includes Half-Life 2, Episodes 1 and 2, Team Fortress 2, and Portal. The whole shebang will be arriving on October 9 for $59.99 on the Xbox 360 and $49.99 on PC. PC pre-orderers can get in on the Team Fortress 2 beta, currently ongoing.
