Streets Paved with Gold

Need for Speed Underground 2 is wrapped and ready.

Electronic Arts has given the green light to Need for Speed Underground 2, proclaiming the racing sequel has officially gone gold. Production is complete, code is locked down, and game is set to hit stores November 15 for the GameCube, PC, PlayStation 2, and Xbox.

Bigger, faster, and more customizable than its best-selling predecessor, Need for Speed Underground 2 takes the racing and tuning to a massive, open-ended city spanning five districts. The hot cars and endless customization are here, of course, as is online play for the PC, PS2, and Xbox.

Be sure to check out all our NFSU 2 coverage so far. Ready for the race to begin next week? Add it to your wishlist.
