Mad Catz has just released the Mad Catz Blaster, the first and only light gun for the Xbox, to be used with the first and only light gun game for Xbox, House of the Dead III.

This is no ordinary light gun though. For the first time ever in light gun history, the Mad Catz Blaster has implemented a "Shotgun" firing mode, which will allow the user to shoot five bullets in a star-like pattern with only one trigger pull. Handy for covering more zombie space with less effort.

The Mad Catz Blaster also has an "Automatic" mode that shoots 360 rounds/minute, a "Burst" mode that shoots three rounds with a single trigger pull, and an auto-reload feature so you can spend more time shooting and less time dying.
