Easter Egg: Paging Dr. Clooney...

After you rescue Cash and an orderly from the Joker's laughing gas, stand in the main room looking at the smaller room where they were trapped. A ticker scrolls a garbled message:

"Dr. Clooney report to Gynecology." No doubt a nod to ladykiller and former Batman, George Clooney.

Hint: "Freeflow Perfection" Achievement / Trophy

Before attempting this Achievement / Trophy you should have Batman fully upgraded with all combo-based upgrades etc. You can do this fairly easily in the later rounds of the first Challenge, Intensive Treatment. You'll need to perform the following moves in a single combo (don't get hit, or blocked or let the combo counter run out) to get the Achievement / Trophy. NOTE: You can Evade as many times as you want to keep your combo going!

  • Punch
  • Stun
  • Evade
  • Counter
  • Throw
  • Instant Takedown
  • Ground Takedown

After using the first few moves listed above plus a couple of Punches to get your combo meter above 5x, you can perform a Throw. Don't let him hit anyone else or you may leave yourself without any opponents to continue the combo.

Punch a bit more and Evade as needed, then use the Instant Takedown when its available. Before using a Ground Takedown to complete this combo, use some Batarangs to stun anyone else nearby -- if it's all clear, go for the Ground Takedown to complete the "perfect" combo!

Easter Egg: Alternate Endings

After you beat the game and the credits come to an end, you'll be treated to one of three ending movies. They seem to be random and not based on completion percentage. Here are the three endings:

  • Bane's arm rises out of the water and grabs a container of Titan formula
  • Killer Croc's arm rises out of the water and grabs a container of Titan formula
  • Scarecrow's arm rises out of the water and grabs a container of Titan formula

Unlockable: Challenges

To unlock additional Challenges, you'll need to play Story Mode. Most Challenges can be unlocked by finding certain Riddler Trophies. You can find a complete list of the Riddler Trophy locations here. here is a complete list of the Challenges with the Riddler Trophies that unlock them.

Easter Egg: Scarecrow's Aptly Named Doctors

The first Scarecrow Interview Tape features the names "Dr. Murphy" and "Dr. Combs." This could very well be a reference to Cillian Murphy, the actor who played Scarecrow in Batman Begins and Jeffrey Combs who played the character in The New Batman Advetnures.

Hint: Catch! Achievement / Trophy

You'll need to catch your own Batarang for the Catch! Achievement. To do so, head outside of a building and, with the Remote Controlled Batarang upgrade, toss your Batarang, Control it so it returns to Batman in a wide arch to satisfy the Trophy / Achievement requirement.

Easter Egg: The Missing Cadaver

After solving the Ra's Al Ghul riddle in Dr. Young's Office (scan the toe tag of the cadaver hanging out of the morgue wall), return much later (after finishing the game, for instance) and the cadaver will be missing... Most curious!

Easter Egg: Arkham's Website

As you walk (or run) through the halls of the Medical Facility, there's a voice in the speakers that will read a website: http://www.ArkhamCare.com. If you try typing it on your browser, it will lead to the Arkham Asylum's website, with everything you want to know about it! (Even prices!). If you figure out how to log in to the employee section, please write us!

Hint: Joker's Take-Down

Challenge mode bases its item upgrades on your upgrades purchased in Story Mode (for that file).

Joker has no applicable upgrades -- for every five consecutive combo hits he connects, he will be able to perform an instant takedown (TRIANGLE + CIRCLE together) on one enemy.

The takedown is randomized among three or four different animations (shock buzzer, head punch, eye poke, etc.) but all functionally disables an enemy permanently.

Hint: High Combo Hint

When you fight a Titan henchman and a group of normal henchmen, stun a Titan, jump on his back and used him to hit the normal baddies. Your combo total goes up even you didn't hit anything!

Unlockable: Joker Challenge

This requires a PSN ID (free) and a broadband connection (cost depends on your country of origin).

The Joker is downloaded free from the Playstation Store (Game Add-On). It is free and stacks up to approximately 180 MB.

Once the download is finished, Joker is a selectable character in Challenge Mode. The Joker does not have any trophy awards in the challenges (he just needs to complete them).

Hint: "Night Glider" Achievement / Trophy Made Easy

Climb to the highest point of Arkham Mansion in Arkham East (the clock tower) and glide down for an easy Night Glider Achievement / Trophy (Glide continuously for 100 meters).

Hint: Action Camera

When equipped with the Batarang, Batclaw, or Multibatarang you can activate a cool behind-the-projectile camera by holding L2 and firing with R1.

Unlockable: Challenge Rooms

Throughout the course of the game you'll unlock additional Challenges for Challenge Mode. These are not related to solving Riddles.

  • Intensive Treatment - Unlocked after the opening scene
  • Silent Knight - Unlocked after beating Bane
  • Sewer Rat - Unlocked after escaping the sewers

Unlockable: Armored Batman

Beat story mode to unlock Armored Batman for Challenge Mode. Armored Batman has a bit more health than regular Batman. You will be able to select Armored Batman before beginning a Challenge.
