When it comes to playing football, how popular is a game like Madden today in the NFL amongst the players?

Oh, very popular. The guys take it seriously. They have Madden tournaments now and everything else. It's gotten pretty big now.

What's it like to see yourself in high definition these days on Madden and NFL Tour?

It's incredible because I've been playing these games for a long time and I used to get upset when I wasn't in the game. Now not only am I on the game, but I'm on the cover of one.

So when it comes to your teammates, where do you rank amongst the gamers on your team?

Oh, at the very top! At the very top!

Do you guys have any game consoles in your locker room or anything that you play, or do you play on the road?

I like to have a bunch of guys who'd come over and we'd play the games in my movie theater. We've been having a lot of fun with that.

I have 65 teammates and some friends so I don't have to go online. I just invite them over and we play.

We recently did an interview with Zach Levi from the TV show, "Chuck," and he said he got to play Xbox 360 Halo 3 with you before it came out. What was that like?

That was one probably one of my best experiences playing a game before it actually hit the streets. Zach is a great gamer. We went up to Seattle and they just did an incredible job with that one. Everybody loved Halo 2, but when we played Halo 3, it's just that much better.

Whether it's Madden or Halo 3, do you ever go online and play against those guys that are out there?

Nah. I have 65 teammates and some friends so I don't have to go online. I just invite them over and we play.

Do you like to play anything outside the football video games?

Oh yeah, I'm a big fighting game and I like stealth army games like Rainbow Six and Ghost Recon.

When it comes to fighting, are there any particular fighting games you're playing these days?

I kind of left alone the fighting, because I got kids that'll beat me in the fighting games, they'll just press one button and win, so I stay away from the fighting games and I just go to more of the games the grown-ups play.
