with Dwayne Johnson

What games do you like to play?

Football's the go-to because time is of the essence. And football you can jump in and play a game any time. I have a ton of games. They're sending me games all the time, but most of them are still wrapped. It's funny, because the Madden games are the only ones never wrapped. Madden is like the go-to game. It's like the go-to pair of jeans that you have.

Have you tried the Wii? Madden just came out on that system.

Yeah. A lot of my buddies are loving it.

What do you think of the Wii getting kids off the couch and active in games?

Look, I think it's fantastic. I think it was a great innovation and a great advancement for gaming. Videogames can be so consuming for kids so it's great that they're getting up and getting some kind of activity. It's especially important when you look at the rate of obesity of kids across our country. However we can do our part in helping combat that is great. And in the videogame world, they're doing that with the Wii.

The new WWE game, which you're going to be in as a Legend, will allow players to use the Wii remotes to physically taunt and punch and wrestle other players.

Oh, that's cool.

Have you seen yourself in any of these games?

Oh yeah, I've been in a ton of them. It never gets old to me, whether it's seeing myself in a videogame or as an action figure or on a movie poster or in a movie trailer -- it never ever gets old or lost on me. I think that's cool, man, especially with videogames. I remember with THQ they were highly innovative back in the day and the movement was really fluid and it was cool to be a part of that and see myself then. And now, too, especially with the new games, the details are fantastic and I really appreciate it.

At one point they had to ban videogames backstage at the WWE because guys were playing too much and almost missing their cues to go into the ring.

It never gets old to me, whether it's seeing myself in a video game or as an action figure or on a movie poster or in a movie trailer -- it never ever gets old or lost on me.

Your car in The Game Plan looked pretty cool. Are you still open to driving the Interceptor for the Spy Hunter movie?

Hell yes. 100 percent. Are you kidding me? I know that whenever that movie gets made...there's a great long-standing relationship with GM to make the Interceptor car. That McLaren in The Game Plan was one amazing car. It's unbelievably fast. The Interceptor on screen will be the most bad-ass car you've ever seen.

Spy Hunter now has a director that plays games and made successful game films with Mortal Kombat and Resident Evil.

Absolutely. Paul's going to be great for Spy Hunter. Adrian Askeriah's fantastic. He's very passionate about his games and I can 100 percent see that film being a success.

As your acting career progresses, do you foresee a time where people know you as Dwayne Johnson versus The Rock?

Absolutely, and it will just happen naturally over time. A couple of years ago in the press people started referring to me as Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson. Next summer I have a big comedy with Steve Carell called Get Smart where I'm billed as Dwayne Johnson. And there's another movie where I'm Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, so it will just happen over time.
